Oliver Benoit, president of the Grenada Arts Council, said that “This achievement that Nero has won is for a most important part of Grenadian culture, the visual arts. The ministry’s acknowledgement of his work and his talent, and that a visual artist has won on behalf of Grenada’s culture is significant. We at the GAC congratulate Nero and wish him well.”
