The Division of Fine Arts at the Barbados Community College, the second year Visual Arts students of the Associates Degree Programme will be presenting its annual Portfolio 2012. The exhibition will be opened officially on Monday, April 30th at 6:00 p.m. On campus at the Morningside location. The exhibition will be open to the general public from that night and for the next two (2) weeks, until Friday, May 11th. Viewing hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
Holly Bynoe is a Vincentian visual artist and writer based in the Caribbean. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of ARC Magazine, and a recent graduate of Bard College International Center of Photography where she earned her M.F.A. in Advanced Photographic Studies. Her work has been shown regionally and internationally, and has been featured in numerous publications.
