St. Andrew native by birth, but growing up in Spanish Town for most of his life, Taj Francis had a strong interest in art ever since his early days as a child. He had little interest in anything else, which may or may not have influenced his daily interaction in a government high school system. Through the influence of family already in the industry, he definitely had his eyes set on pursuing a career in illustration, design and fine arts. Since then, his work has developed, touching on topics within social commentary and awareness. This was done through developing his illustrative works in which he tries to connect with the audience on thought-provoking and emotional levels.
