The Reggae Poster Contest submission is now closed. The committee wishes to thank all the contestants from around the world who submitted their amazing posters. This is an historic beginning toward realizing their objectives. The hundreds of posters that were received is a wonderful love letter to Reggae music and Jamaican popular culture. The committee is excited to announce, for the world to know, the names of all the designers that took part. They have received over 1140 submissions from 80 countries! This is powerful reminder that the global love for Reggae music is strong and alive.
Now the second stage of the contest will begin and we will move into the most important stages of selecting the most creative posters that will move to the next round for the final judging. The committee will share news and make announcements in the coming months about upcoming events and exhibitions. This is more than a contest, it is a platform to shout our mission to the world and a vehicle toward realizing our big vision, and now the reality of what we started is shining above the mountains for all to see. In a few weeks the judging will take place and they will announce the three finalist shortly there after.
The committee also wishes to thank our esteemed jury of 21 for participating, they will carry out this challenging task of selection the winning posters. The committee willbe in touch with more news soon.
