Roots & Wings An International Photography Exhibit to be held in conjunction with the Fort de France Cultural Festival

“Roots & Wings” is a part of the Olympic-inspired <relay> arts programme which aims to connect artists and communities across, cultural, social and geographical divides. The exhibition features 43 Photography & Spoken Word artists representing the UK & Caribbean. <relay> is produced by Urbanflo Creative Consultancy in collaboration with Brighton Photo Fringe, SERMAC & other international partners. The show opens on the 3rd of July and runs through the 11th at the Parc Culturel Aimé Cesaire in Martinique.

Holly Bynoe

Holly Bynoe is a curator, visual artist and writer based in the Caribbean. She is the Executive Director of ARC Magazine, and a graduate of Bard College International Center of Photography (2010) where she earned her M.F.A. in Advanced Photographic Studies. She currently holds the position of Chief Curator at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, and is co-director of the annual arts conference Tilting Axis and Caribbean Linked Residency Program.
