Blue Curry was born in Nassau, Bahamas in 1974. He obtained an MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London in 2009, and previously a BA (Hons) in Photography and Multimedia at the University of Westminster, London in 2004. He was selected for inclusion in the Catlin Guide to the top 40 emerging UK artists in 2010 and gained further recognition when he was profiled in a two-part BBC documentary on graduate artists the same year. He has shown in the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and throughout the Caribbean with a recent institutional solo show at Nassauischer Kunstverein in Wiesbaden, Germany.

He participated in the 6th Liverpool Biennial and Art Basel, Miami Beach as well as in group shows in The Art Museum of the Americas, Washington DC, and the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo, Puerto Rico. He was recently selected for ‘Emergency5’, being held at Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth, UK. He lives and works in London and Nassau.
